72h Weekend Challenge

Dear all,

Gerda has invited for a 72h weekend challenge with a lovely little Birthday-phant...

And here is my idea for this sweet little one...

I created a birthday card on a kind of turquoise background which I found in a card pack from Tchibo. I printed a few elephants on Neenah Solar White paper and colored them with Delta Marker.
Afterwards I mounted the white piece and the sentiment on some fun foam, to get a bit of dimension.

And this is the inside...

Sorry for the bad photo quality, but my boyfriend went on a motorcycle trip over the weekend and has taken the camera with him :-)

Wish you all a great weekend

Gerda Steiner Designs - "Reading-monster" bookmarks

Dear all,

today I will show you more about my little "Lese-Monster" / "Reading-monsters" which I made a few weeks ago. I have used these adorable monsters from Gerda Steiner Designs, but you can use any motiv you like to put on the bookmarks.
This is also a great way to get rid of all the left over paper...

I have printed the stamps onto neenah paper and colored them with Delta Marker and added a few enamel dots finish them.

I have fuzzy cut them, but if you have a Silhouette Cameo, you can also use the mashine to cut them out can also use some googly eyes for them :-)

And here are they all together :-)

Have a nice whitsun weekend!

CAS for the Stinkin' Cute May challenge from Gerda Steiner Designs

Hallo zusammen,

did you know that - sometimes when you see a stamp, you don't really get any kind of inspiration. And on an other day, you have already pictures and in the best case a sentiment already in your mind, when seeing a new stamp - and this was happening to me with this cute littly skunk from Gerda Steiner Designs for the may challenge - this month with a german sentiment which means "stinkin' cute"

I colored him with Caran d'Ache water-soluble pencils and created the background with peacock feather distress ink from Tim Holtz. The sentiment is from the "bloomin marvelous" set from Stampin' UP.

Wish you all a wonderfull week and hopefully a bit more sunshine here in switzerland!

Euer Bastel-Troll
